Welcome to our little place on the web!

We are awesome! I should stop right there….

No I’m kidding, I am a sucker for these things…

We like to shoot a unique, fun and modern look. We love
getting to know you so that by the time the big day rolls around we aren’t just
the photographers we are part of the
team. We like to work from different angles and focus on different things,
Karen is a tea drinker and I am a coffee drinker…so we clearly have different
styles but, when put together we come up with contemporary and exciting things
to do!

More about us? We like long walks in the woods…no really we
do… we have way too many pets and we have a passion for photography that keeps
us inspired every day! Karen is a model and model coach, she likes to use her
skills to help guide everyone to look their best on the big day and I have been
a zealous photographer for the past 8 years. Combined we are a stellar team.

Love for the photo!

One of my many days while slaving away in front of the computer I received an e-mail from a potential bride. She knew what she wanted and knew who she wanted. There isn’t anything better then the feeling you are being asked to shoot someones wedding because they love your photos. No worries about price, no worries about locations or times. she liked our photos and wanted us to shoot it.

So this past weekend we finally got to actually meet our fantastic bride! We headed down to the water front and walked around a while until we reached the container pier in the south end. And the rest is magic.

Rainy Day Edits

The rain sometimes really motivates you to sit down in front of the computer and blast away at photo edits, mostly because there isn’t much else to do really. The weather around here for the past week has been a bit dreary but it’s allowed me to get a lot of backed up work done. One of those projects was to add some older photos of mine to my catalog. 63,000 photos later it’s still adding, and we are only about half way done… Now I know you really could care less about the technical side of photo archiving, but this is more about memories. The photos I am adding are from 2007 and 2008 and this was around the time I had met Karen, so I am seeing a lot of the photo sets we first did together. They are not exactly great photos let me tell you but it’s nice to see them none the less. It’s pretty nice to see these again! Anyway on with the show! I leave you with some shots from our last wedding with Shanon and Mark.

Epic Cake!

So this past Saturday was my big 30th Birthday, it was a great day of a few small errands, Farmers Market and shopping. It is a strange feeling getting older and reaching milestones such as this. I am told though 30 is the new 20 and you will feel great, and can’t take guff from anyone anymore, you’re the new boss; I think I’ll like that part. That evening we had a small party with friends over with an insane amount of food, cupcakes and drinks. Yes cupcakes get their own mention. Karen also made me my very own cake! Check out the photos below.
