What do I do in my free time?
I shoot fantastic looking models in fantastic looking dresses. That’s what I do with my free time. A few weekends ago we did a wedding show at the Cunard Center here in Halifax. One of the vendors there, Pink Mascara Accessories had a wide range of dresses and accessories on displayed. We got to talking and said it would be great to get some models and dresses together. So we did just that. Below is the results of that great night!

Ever heard the expression too many cooks in the kitchen? This comes into play so often in the photography world where everyone is hanging over your shoulder telling you how to create your image or distracting your model, or subject from the lens? Well in this case each chef was a valued addition to the soup mix!
Angel and Joelle had a very specific look they wanted for the product shots of their jewelry, but no idea how to implement it… after a little bit of messing around to find the right style and mix between eco-friendly and eco-chic, we were off and running!
It was nice to have the immediate input of the client right then and there so the problems could be fixed on set, and in camera without a whole lot of fake editing or bead swapping, and in the end everyone was pleasantly surprised with the results. Even my girlfriend Karen, because she got some free jewelry out of it…
