We had the opportunity to meet Meaghan and Brad a while back in a seedy Tim Hortons on Quinpool. Luckily for us there was nothing seedy about them. An absolute riot the entire day and they rocked. Brad even allowed us to play YMCA!

Weddings of Summer Past

The snow is gone and the sun is shining, the temperature is rising and things are starting to look pretty damn fantastic outside. That means we are getting back into wedding season. Here is some shots from the Livingston wedding last summer. Fantastic times down in Chester.

Earlier this summer we photographed with Nicole and Derricks wedding at the lovely Lord Nelson downtown. Fantastic wedding except for the wedding crasher that was full of hot air. A little hurricane. This didn’t effect the spirits but sadly it did effect the photography. No power, large dark hotel and not so great weather outside made photos a bit more difficult then expected. We met up a little before Christmas and did some new shots in the studio. We knew they loved rock and roll and we ran with it. Hope you enjoy one clients twist on their traditional wedding photos!

My Best Friends Wedding | Halifax Wedding Photography

Right off the bat we hit it off and became good friends. Being worried about Drama Class exams, the formation of the high school Key Club, or Environment Club members we were there to back one another up. I’ve known Kaija for almost thirteen years this September, but of course over time people spread apart and go off to different universities and go on adventures. The nice thing though with friendship is you can always come back and share those adventures with your friends. Some times there is just no words to describe how happy you are for someone. And for those times there is photography…

Get Screeched in and Kiss the Cod!

In all my travels around the world this was my first encounter with Newfoundland and it could not have been with a better crowd! What a blast and what amazing scenery, but no Moose. Meet Amanda and Guy ,newlyweds and party professional extraordinaire! This couple left lots of time for fun and photos, it was well worth it. Sadly there was no fish kissing or unnameable drinking but these two kept us on our feet…
